The Aims of Mindfulness

1.Gain a greater ability to stay in the present moment. (Be here now).

2. Gain clarity or “see clearly” your emotions, reactions, the way your mind works, and even reality itself. One of the greatest abilities any human can achieve is a better understanding how their own minds works.

What to Expect?

Here is what we do on Saturdays at 10:00 AM-11:10 AM.

Seated Meditation

This is our main practice. We tend to do two seated meditations for 20-25 minutes each.


Walking Meditation

Between our two seated meditations, we also do a 3-5 minute walking meditation. Can you keep your mind on your walking?


Reading

Every Saturday, two short readings will be shared from various books on meditation and mindfulness.
